The workshop focuses on methods and tools for bringing climate change adaptation into planning and transportation decision making. Cost-effectiveness is a unifying theme through decision making and improving resilience for all modes and for the fiscal viability of making such investments. All agencies are looking for better ways to assess costs, value assets, and use preservation and adaptation strategies in the face of extreme weather.
